Story Overview
This design cleverly blends elements of tradition and the present, oriental and occidental, human and nature. The composition is inspired by the layout of flying chess. The design highlights iconic landmarks that narrate Hong Kong's history, including the historical Clock Tower and Golden Bauhinia Square, the artsy Xiqu Centre and the Palace Museum, the Space Museum representing technological exploration, as well as the lively Kai Tak Sports Park and the internationally renowned Avenue of Stars. Through warm hand-drawn strokes and bright color blocks, the grandeur of the architecture is preserved while imbuing it with human warmth, vividly representing Hong Kong's transformation from a fishing village to an international metropolis.
